Bassist/composer Cameron Undy spent 12 years, building the world- renowned ‘Venue 505’ in Sydney, Australia and working as a sideman with a diverse range of artists from Jazz legend Pharaoh Sanders to Nu dance floor producers ‘Bugz in the Attic’ to number-one selling songwriter ‘Passenger’. Meanwhile steadily developing the Jazz, Funk, Afro-beat material, delivered by his band, ‘20th Century Dog’
Rhythmic and melodic components are layered among the group delivering odd-metered grooves in an improvisatory, conversational style, appealing equally to the body and the mind and capturing a folk-like, singable essence.
