Las Mar & The Sticks (unplugged)

LAS MAR mashes world percussion, post rock, electronic and psychedelic sounds into an array of hyper-detailed songs. A multi-instrumentalist working from a DIY studio, his debut album Euphemist presents a unique production style featuring lush vocals, deep, bent grooves and the odd guitar rock-out. Las Mar launched his solo live show in mid 2016 and has since been wowing audiences from Melbourne to Tokyo. Taking to the stage with a drum-kit, vocal mic, sampler and synths he plays it all…at the same time. For more visit

THE STICKS are a three piece live electronic act from Sydney, Australia. Having only formed in late 2014, the Sticks have been quick to make their mark at SydneyTedX 2015, Melbourne International Jazz Festival 2015 & Canberra International Music Festival 2015. The Sticks will play a special unplugged set on piano, double and acoustic drums of tunes from their debut album.

Innovative, moody and enthralling, Sydney three-piece The Sticks go beyond the realm of a standard electronic band. Their live show alone is a revelation. – Happy
by album’s end you’ve been sucked through a black hole… and spat out the other side into David Lynch’s darkest nightmare. – Rolling Stone
The Sticks self-titled debut album is excellent… Each track sounds like the workings of the brain, the buzz of inspiration, electric idea cells sparking, blood racing through your veins and pulsating around your heart. – The Garb Wire
