On the Stoop
Mariachi, Balkan, New-Orleans swing, Spaghetti-Western, Cabaret, Film Score, Cumbia, Punk-Rock are all represented in this adept ensemble featuring some of the finest musicians around Sydney.

With their second album under their arm, this 6 piece horn driven ensemble is fresh from a bunch of festivals and a slot at The Sydney Opera House , most recently supporting international band Dubioza Kolektiv to a sold out crowd at The Factory Theatre, Sydney.
You might catch some of the members of On The Stoop playing in groups such as The Rhythm Hunters, Watussi, Waiting For Guinness, Fat Yahoozah, Facemeat, Mikelangelo , Chronology Arts Ensemble and a host of others.
Their latest single State Trooper, an avant grade interpretation of the Bruce Springsteen original, received massive support from 2SER and FBi, and ABC Radio National.
The band are releasing their second full length album. A meatier development of their roots in the jazz, folk world.
Combining No Wave Punk Jazz, Latin Cambia, Trad New Orleans horn anthems, Mariachi, Dub and a myriad of genres, On The Stoop are making a sound that is uniquely their own.
