Kerri Glasscock Bio

Kerri Glasscock has worked in various roles on the Sydney arts scene for the past 11 years. She has worked as an actor in film/television and theatre since 1997. Appearing in numerous works as varied as Capricornia in 2005 (Company B) to Home and Away in 1998. Her commitment to the arts sector increased on a grass roots level when she started working in arts administration.
Arts Administrator: Newtown Entertainment Precinct Association (2004-2006) and
The Seymour Centre (2004-2007)
Manager: The Sound Lounge (2005-2007)
General Manager: The Jazzgrove Association (2007-Present)
Festival Director: Jazzgroove Summer Festival (2009-Present)
In 2004 she co-founded the underground performance space 505 in Surry Hills. Over the next 6 years under her co-direction 505 grew from a one night a week venue to a full time professional performance space now presenting 6 nights per week of local, interstate and international acts and now a second venue the Old 505 Theatre. Her vision for 505 has always been to offer professional theatre and music performers a space to present new work to a supportive and industry based audience.
